I came to art material industry by sheer chance and have been working to support artists by supplying materials. I want to supply high-quality art materials to artists so that they can make good works.

During the time I have been working in this industry, I had an opportunity of working in close vicinity of "art," especially "contemporary art" and noticed the existence of the ever-expanding art market. I also saw artists and their works, which I believe equal to the top artists of all over the world. I think, however, that it is still difficult for general consumers to find their favorite artist or arts to buy. At the same time, only few artists can make living by their art activities.

There is distance between the supplier of art(artists) and buyer. I started this project because I want to shorten this distance.

"What is Art?" I need time and experience to answer this fundamental question. Still, there's something I can do to contribute to art. Whatever that is, I will find it and take a step forward.

My carrier has always been in art material industry. I have worked mainly with Liquitex(Acrylic colour); to spread Liquitex and its technique in Japanese market, developing and planning Liquitex Biennnale for the purpose of giving opportunities to young artists. I believe that Liquitex Biennnale is playing its part in society as an infrastructure, which produces talented artists, in the world of contemporary art in Japan.

I have been in contact with many artists and gallerists and have seen their works all through my carrier. I will try to introduce young and up-coming artists to art scene in Japan in more aggressive manner.

I am hoping that artists and we can help each other and grow together into great artists and great gallery.

Message from Shuko
London brought me to where I am working now as a gallerist. I would say I am lucky.
My goal is to introduce our contracted artists to as many people as possible and their paintings would make our customers' lives rich and fulfilled. With this hope in my mind, I will do my best to make our promotional activities something which everyone can enjoy.
In our collaboration project with our artists, "Art Home hospitality", as a florist and a table-coordinator, I would like to introduce great ways to welcome and entertain your guests with the art work.
For many people, gallery may be an awkward place to visit but I want to change it. I would like to make gallery where you can drop by all the time and have a relaxed time for yourself. Please visit us anytime. Looking forward to seeing you in Gallery Trinity.
