1994: Graduated from Kyoto Seika university of Art
I love history, all kinds of it. I love general history such as history of Japan as well as personal history.
So, I look my personal history objectively, which is rather uneventful.
For example, the view from my parent's house at night remains with me very dark.
It had a vague moonlit street and somehow looked like an empty ocean.
I try to express time in my work. I want people feel time in my works, which is not a split second but long continuous time.
I want them to feel their own histories when they see my works.
